Knowing the right deadlines can save you from unexpected charges. Whether you registered at a testing center or opted for online proctoring, each exam type has its own cancellation and rescheduling window — make sure you act before your deadline to avoid any additional fees.

## Testing Center Exams

If you registered at a testing center, you can reschedule or cancel your exam at **no extra charge** — provided you do so **at least 72 hours before** your scheduled exam start time. This can be done directly from the **My Assessments** page in your Webassessor account.

**Important:** 72 hours is not the same as three business days. This window is measured in continuous calendar time, not business hours. Plan accordingly to ensure your change is submitted well before the cutoff.

If your reschedule or cancellation request is submitted _less than 72 hours before_ the scheduled exam start time, an additional fee may apply.

## Online Proctored Exams

If you registered for an online proctored exam, you can reschedule or cancel at **no extra charge** — as long as you do so **at least 24 hours before** your scheduled exam start time. Like testing center registrations, changes can be made from the **My Assessments** page in your Webassessor account.

**Important:** 24 hours is not the same as one business day. This window is based on continuous calendar time. Make sure your request is submitted with enough lead time to avoid a charge.

If your reschedule or cancellation request is submitted _less than 24 hours before_ the scheduled exam start time, an additional fee may apply.
